Strategic Background of Graphic Designer
- Graphic designer must have a strong awareness of organization goals, target audience, and industry trends. This will allow to build designs that are not only visually appealing but also effectively express the intended message to the target audience.
- Graphic Designer must be proficient with design principles such as color theory, typography, and composition.
Duties and Responsibilities of Graphic Designer
- You are responsible for generating visual designs that successfully express a message or idea to the intended audience. This may include producing logos, artwork, infographics, and other visual materials.
- You must work closely with organization and stakeholders to understand the goals and objectives and generate designs that fit the specifications.
- You will need to manage projects from inception to end, including developing project deadlines, setting project milestones, and communicating project status to stakeholders.
- You must be proficient in the use of design applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- To ensure that your designs are innovative and effective, you need to keep up with the newest design trends and technology.
- You must design for print or digital publication, which may need collaboration with printers or web developers.
- You must verify that your designs are of good quality and satisfy the necessary requirements, such as color correctness and file format.
- Overall, you must be accountable as a graphic designer for designing aesthetically appealing and successful designs that express a message or idea to the intended audience.
Education, professional experience, technical skills:
- A bachelor's degree in related. Portfolio of work demonstrating design abilities and creativeness.
- At least one (1) years of experience in graphic design is desired.
- Experience with design software, project management, and collaboration with organization and stakeholders are all required.
- Expertise in design applications like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Typography, color theory, and composition skills are required.
- A working knowledge of web design principles and best practices. Knowledge of printing procedures and print creation.
- Time management skills for project management and meeting deadlines.
